About me
Taelar Shelton is a teacher at Olympia High School, specializing in Sports Medicine, Health and Biology. She is experienced in providing emergency care, managing program activities and overseeing rehabilitation. She holds a Doctorate in Athletic Training from AT Still University, a Master of Science in Exercise Science from California University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from the University of Idaho. Taelar is a certified Athletic Trainer, with additional certifications in NASM Corrective Exercise and Graston Technique. Taelar worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Seattle Sounders FC Academy Teams. Outside of teaching, she is the girls golf coach at Olympia and the President of HSCTE within WA-ACTE. Taelar enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She is an avid golfer and she enjoys traveling on school breaks.
