About me
Megan Benzing is a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program Supervisor at the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), leading statewide efforts in construction, manufacturing, supply chain, and transportation pathways. She began her career in the classroom, teaching middle school at Cascade Middle School in Auburn and high school at Liberty High School in Issaquah, before earning her master’s degree in Educational Psychology with a focus on Learning Sciences and Human Development. Megan later worked with Snohomish STEM, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing career-connected learning, where she partnered with industry professionals and developed a passion for the skilled trades. Across her career, STEM has been a unifying thread, guiding her commitment to expanding equitable access and increasing representation for historically underrepresented students in STEM and career pathways.
