Jim Kindle is the Chief Innovation Officer and Founder of Why3Works Education & Workforce Consultants, where he helps education, workforce, industry, and community partners design sustainable systems that connect learners to meaningful career pathways. His work focuses on aligning K-12 education, higher education, employers, and workforce organizations to create scalable solutions that strengthen talent pipelines and improve workforce readiness. Through Why3Works, Jim specializes in career-connected learning, apprenticeship development, work-based learning, strategic partnerships, and systems design. He has led the development of innovative initiatives, including regional apprenticeship models, intermediary partnerships, and cross-sector collaborations that help communities build stronger connections between education and employment. Jim also served as the Career Connected Learning Coordinator for Educational Service District 123, supporting 23 school districts across southeastern Washington. This regional leadership role provides ongoing insight into the opportunities and challenges facing schools, employers, and workforce systems, informing the practical, implementation-focused strategies he brings to clients throughout Washington State.
