About me
Cheyenne LaViolette is in her 7th year teaching at Hanford High School in Richland, Washington. She teaches a variety of filmmaking and broadcasting classes to grades 9 through 12. Cheyenne is the past president of WITEA. She was awarded New Teacher of the Year for WASTS & WA-ACTE, Teacher of the Year for All-American High School Film Festival, and Special Recognition Broadcast Adviser for the Journalism Education Association. Her program has exploded and her students have won many local and national awards. Cheyenne enjoys time with her husband, adult kids, dog, and granddogs.
