About me
Meloni Courtway believes that the kitchen is the ultimate classroom for life. An experienced private chef, writer, and CTE educator, Meloni spent years honing her craft across the U.S. - from Hawaii to Washington - before transitioning into secondary education 10 years ago. Her accolades include winning Martha Stewart’s Best Bakers in America and contributing to the New York Times as a food blogger, and being honored as a Delta Kappa Gamma Leading Women Educators in Kitsap county, but her true pride lies in her students' growth. At her school, she doesn't just teach Culinary Arts; she develops SEL content that fosters community and confidence in teenagers. As a ServSafe instructor and advocate for dual-credit pathways, Meloni is dedicated to equipping the next generation with the technical skills and emotional intelligence they need to thrive.
