About me
Marina Parr is the Director of Workforce System Advancement at Washington’s Workforce Board. She helped launch the original CareerBridge.wa.gov in 2009 and has been promoting, and working to improve, this popular, public-facing platform ever since. Marina is a former journalist and marketing copywriter, and she uses her writing, editing, and presentation skills to help audiences better understand complicated (but important) things quickly and with a sense of humor. She’s committed to helping students find connections to meaningful careers and chart an education pathway to help them get where they’re going.
